Mariana Sarraute

Mariana Sarraute (Buenos Aires, 1971) caresses the desire of keeping the instant in which an object turns into an idol. She wishes to impregnate this object with subtile variations which, in its highest tension with other strengths, acquires a magic sense, consequence of the little miracle of the displacement.

Her multiple itineraries as an artist and designer among Barcelone, Buenos Aires, Mallorca, Berlin and Seville turn her work into world maps of intersections which, by means of visual and experimental referents, build each of her movements.
